This project involved the supply and installation of premium glazing solutions for a newly built residential property, with the goal of enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency of the home, while improving overall comfort. The installation featured a selection of premium glazing brands, contributing to a thought-provoking design that sparks conversation and reflects contemporary themes.
Given the complexity of the project, multiple fabricators were required to meet the diverse needs of each element, ensuring that all components worked seamlessly together. This success is a testament to the expertise and coordination of our order processing and survey teams, whose attention to detail ensured the client’s complete satisfaction.
We were tasked with combining a wide range of profile extrusions from various fabricators, carefully ensuring that every detail, both in appearance and performance, was perfectly aligned. This challenge stemmed from the client’s brief, as well as our unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of excellence on every project we undertake.
As a new build property, we pushed the boundaries of design while ensuring that all elements met the necessary security performance standards.
One of the key challenges in this project was the design of the front atrium. To overcome this, we engaged our own structural engineers to provide the required calculations. Working closely with the client’s architect and structural engineer, we ensured that the proposed design was not only achievable but also structurally sound.
To elevate the aesthetic appeal of the property, we chose only the finest premium brands:
- The Residence 9 Collection – In Painswick, complemented by elegant pewter tear drop handles. These windows replicate the timeless charm of traditional timber, adding a classic touch that enhances the home’s character and sophistication.
- Rockdoor Front & Utility Stable Doors – Offering unmatched security and exceptional strength, these doors are crafted with no timber and reinforced with steel bars, making them the ideal choice for both the stable door and the front door, which forms part of a striking glass entranceway.
- Origin Aluminium – Gable Frontage – Combining sleek design with ultimate flexibility, the Origin system allowed us to create a stunning gable frontage that perfectly complements the home’s overall aesthetic.
- Ultraframe Ultrasky Roof Lantern – Dining Room – Featuring a slimline bar system, the roof lantern’s sightlines align seamlessly with the bifold doors on the rear elevation. Equipped with a thermostat and rain sensor vent, it offers a fully integrated, modern operating system.
- TuffX Juliet Balcony Glass – Made from 17.5mm clear toughened glass with polished edges, this balcony features resin-fixed points that create a clean, stainless steel-visible fixing. The design was carefully coordinated to match the stainless-steel hardware across the entire glazing package, bringing a harmonious and sophisticated finish to the home.
